Welcome and thank you for visiting us. This site is a work in progress and little by little we expect it to be a place where you will come to, time and time again, not only to find out what is going on at the First United Methodist Church of Montclair but a place where you will find inspiring and encouraging meditation. It is my prayer that as you browse through this website you will have a growing desire to develop and deepen a relationship with this community of faith and its members. Our congregation is a loving and welcoming body of believers which takes seriously its calling to make disciples for Jesus Christ. We are united by our faith in Him, and our desire to serve the church and our community, by pointing people to Christ, by creating appropriate programs for children, youth, and people of all ages, and by being present with them in the different challenges that life may bring.
