“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
The Letter to the Ephesians lays out the gist of our salvation with succinct sentences as following:
Today, I would like to invite you to look into yourself as a poem that is handwritten by God and look at others the same. We need to take a good moment to read it and savor the beauty. In so doing, may we find deeper meanings and inspirations from our lives. And may we appreciate more and better our writer’s motives and purposes. Amen.
